Dissidia Duodecim: Vaan thanks his fans

Joining Kain and Lightning into the list of the officially confirmed characters, Vaan, one of the most discussed "hero" from Final Fantasy XII, will change his original voice.

Today, the team n charge of the game's development announce on the official Japanese site that Vaan won't be voiced by Kôhei Takeda, his voice actor in the original game, but by Kenshō Ono, who also voices Harry Potter an Simba in The Lion King.

Even if Takeda was interested by the project, he wasn't able to participate, due to copyrights troubles within the society he used to work in. It's by hearing the (rare?) fans of Vaan that the team chose to call Ono. Bobby Edner, his American voicer, stupidly let go of the information that he saws very happy to work again with SE on Twitter. The western versions won't be affected by this last-minute change, even if Vaan had a rather cold welcome into the world of Dissidia.

Even if his battle style should be interesting, as he fights with several types of weapon, we will have to wait to see if the blondie finally becomes a real hero at the eye of a huge number of the fans of FF XIII.
