Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core - story line

The event of the game happened seven years before "Final Fantasy VII" . Crisis Core sees Zack as the main character of the game, young man who is striving to become a highly ranked First-Class SOLDIER in the elite ShinRa army, along with his best friend, Cloud Strife.
You may remember Zack as the elusive figment of Cloud's imagination in Final Fantasy VII, later found to be a member of SOLDIER, an entity outside of Cloud.Through letters to his parents, we know that Zack had a relationship with Aerith prior to leaving for Nibelheim, where he disappeared. During that time though, he served in SOLDIER with the likes of Sephiroth, Cloud, and trained under Angeal, evenually becoming 1st Class.

  Another big focus of the game seems to be the inner-workings of the ShinRa company, and the Turks. Hopefully this will lead to new revalations concerning the events in Nibelheim and the eventual conception of Project Genesis, it's cover-up, and it's relation to the Deepground Soldier.

  As you can likely tell, we really don't know much. Square has been stingy with the details, so much of this is surmising based on the short trailers we've seen and the facts that have leaked. This section will be updated the minute more information becomes available.
