He smirked that Vincent was more of a beast than he was.
Lucrecia
One of the scientists who worked on the Jenova Project, she was the one who saved Vincent by exposing him to a stagnated form of the lifestream called G Substance, but as a side effect he became the host of Chaos, descending into a feral rage. To calm his madness she used an ancient materia created to control Chaos. Due to the Jenova project and the cells inside he she began to suffer from visions of the horror Sephiroth would create later, that, coupled with her digust of her actions and the changes in her body due to Jenova's cells, she tried to kill herself. But the cells inside of her wouldn't let her die so easily, so she hid away in an unknown cave, eventually incasing herself in a crystal of mako.
Reeve

Hojo
One of the scientists that worked on the Jenova Project, Hojo was the cause of Vincents suffering, starting with the bullet that almost took his life. Later Vincent seemingly killed him, but it is revealed he was barely able to return into his body to upload his mind into the World Network as a backup. However, due to Meteor, his concious mind was fragmented and it would take two years before Hojo's mind could be assimilated again upon the World Network's restoration. Deciding to finish what he had previously started, Hojo entered the body of the "in-stasis" Deep Ground SOLDIER commander Weiss. Controlling the body, he ordered the Deep Ground to abduct those without Geostigma to server as incubators for enough pure Spirit energy to enable to Weiss's body to absorb Omega, and also trick the planet in awakening it. It is later revealed that Vincent is the only person capable of entering and leaving Nero's darkness at will, as his own darkness is apparently greater. It is said the restraint like outfit he weas is to keep his power in check. Nero is the biological brother of Weiss, and the only successful experiment from the g-Substance injection during the fetal stage, his mother being sucked into the darkness upon his birth. He is the one who secretly lead the Deepground under Wiess's name after Weiss's state became unclear to the remaining Deepground Soldiers. When facing Vincent the second time he took Vincent into his darkness where he appeared as Arachnero, attacked to a spider-like machine. Once defeated he returned to his brother and was stabbed by Weiss under Hojo's control. after Hojo/Weiss was defeated he appeared and merged into Weiss, never wanted to part from him again an in conseguence destroyed Hojo and his control over Weiss.

He has all the other Tsviets abilities, uncluding Shelke's SND, within himself. During the festival at Kalm, when the World Network was fully restored, allowing Hojo's fragmented mind to come together again. He then invaded Weiss's body when he was in SND to find the cure for the time released Virus the Restrictors had infected him with to control him. Hojo, through Weiss's body had Deep Ground Soldiers abduct those not suffering from Geostigma to serve as incubators for enough pure spirit energy for Weiss to absorb Omega. The Make-Influence gave him powers far beyond Vincent's, letting him easily defeat him. But Vincent was able to overcome this power by using Chaos's power. Once defeated Nero merged with Weiss, forcing Hojo out and into oblivion. Still in control, Weiss envoked Omega's power, later killed by Vincent in Chaos form.
