Vincent cloaks himself with a black robe and red cape, while hiding the lower half of his face with a mask. If combined with the fact that Vincent was trapped in a coffin, Vincent’s appearance lead many people to infer that he was a deadly beast. The fact that his Limit Breaks transformed him into horrific monsters added to the argument. However, it has been clarified that this is only because of the JENOVA cells that were injected into his body by Hojo.
