1. When Rules are used, it’s best to use a strong deck, I generally use the last five cards of my collection as they are usually GF and Character cards having at least one A on them. The trickier rules are: Plus, Same Wall, and Random.
Random what I like to call the “Death Rule” as it will usually select your poorest cards while giving your opponent very strong ones or only give you one good one while giving your opponent as many as four “Death Cards.” Generally when I see this rule on the list I
back out no matter what card the person is supposed to have that I want. I may come back and play them when I have more strong cards and less bad ones for the computer to choose from.
2. Play defensively. It’s always a good idea to position your cards so that you can take one of your opponent’s cards, but he can’t take one of yours. However, this is only helpful when you actually know what the other person has. If the Open rule is not being applied, simply place your cards with the lowest numbers away from the middle to avoid capture. Obviously, the corners are your safest bet, while the center can turn into a death trap for even the strongest cards.
