On a still and cold night, everyone has come to see the blitzball game of the year - just after half time the city is attacked by Sin. Tidus a young blitzball superstar barely escapes the maelstrom and is sucked 2000 years into the future.

Tidus finds himself in a new world filled with adventure, his story follows the path of a young lady, Yuna, a summoner set out to save the world from Sin. Their story takes them to the ends of the world trying to find some way of saving the world without having to sacrifice everything, but there is a twist when Tidas discovers where his father has been for the last ten years.
