Rules V.3!

Here are the new rules, I've tried to organize and expand upon them so that they would be understood correctly. I'm also implementing the time tested "Three strikes and you're out!" rule So I expect these rules to be followed or else "You're outta here!"

For our members:



Minor offenses (Will land you a warning)

Harassment! ANY kind of harassment is *strictly* prohibited. This includes sexism, racism and general intolerance. Offensive remarks are also prohibited. Depending of the situation, several sanctions can be taken, from a warning, to a definitive ban. This applies for ANY member on the Forums. General intolerance can land a warning, while sexism and/or racism can land a permanent ban.

Spam! Spam is not allowed. Any post written in SMS language, and that doesn't contain a full sentence is considered as such and will be deleted ipso facto. Also, spamming the chatbox by writing several lines isn't allowed. Blatant and repeated spam will land you a 24H ban. This includes posting meaningless repetitive messages, signing up just to promote a website or ad/promotion offer, or signing up just to sell a product.

Language! While cursing is allowed, it is not encouraged. We want this to be a site where any Final Fantasy fan can come and enjoy their selves. Vulgar or obscene words however ARE strictly forbidden.



Major Offenses (Will land you a double-warning)

Harassment! This includes continued harassment of a person despite warnings, severe harassment of someone, Obscene or continuous racial, religious, or sexist slurs.

Spam! This includes posting continuous meaningless messages, promoting other sites or the sites of competition(Including people signing up for the sole purpose of trying to make this site bad or have members switch to a new forum).

Language! this includes continuous or strong vulgarities and obscenities.

Ignoring Staff! We try and let the forum run it's self and not step in too much, but when one of us or our moderators say something, that means it is important and we expect all of our members to follow and respect it.



Extreme Offenses (These will land you an instant ban)

Harassment! This includes continuous and severe following and insulting a person or group, posting someones personal information with negative intent, or making real life threats.

Spam! Trying to promote a competitions site and defaming/slandering this site in the hopes to move members or ruin reputation. Continuous spam of unwanted nonsense, ads, or promotional offers.

Language! Extreme and continuous vulgarities or obscenities.

Ignoring Staff! Blatant and prolonged disregard of staff commands or warnings despite previous warnings.



Also!
Any link or image containing sexual content, racism, offensive content, moral crime against the humanity or any other content going against the netiquette will be removed or replaced, along with a warning or a ban as sanction for the user in fault, depending of how serious this fault is.



Once you get three warnings, you will be issued a temporary or permanent ban depending on the severity of what you've done.
