and it isn't. Its become a moccery of its former self. However Crisis core Is still one of my favourite games.

By the way, do you mean Final Fantasy VII? 'cause in that case, you're right. But I can say that FFXIII is a very good game, if not the best. Even if it has some resemblances with FFVII... Still, those guys at Square Enix are doing what they can to make great games. And they're doing a good job.

I mean the games are still alright.. but they've lost there touch..

Hm :/ I have to say SE have become so money grabbing. the games plotlines are losing there tint and the games themselves seem to be less special BECAUSE of SE's actions latley.

I have to agree here... It's all about extravaganza these years. AND they're trying to make FFXIII more like FFVII with all the expansions (Versus and Agito). I don't know how it'll be, but I hope it's not a failure like FFX-2...

By the way, I think that this topic should be moved to "Final Fantasy" in the general part.

Crisis Core is the worst spin off ever in my opinion.
I don't want to go over (again) about why.

Final Fantasy VII is the best one for me,
although Final Fantasy VI is very neat too.

and I know. but it is my favourite ff7 game.. so yeah... but hey ho everyone has a opinion. ( I just stand up for mine too often :3)

I really like Dissidia (although my son first beat the game as himself and then again as me on my PSP....oh well...) what can I say...I suck at games. I think that the Crisis Core ending is the best (and saddest) and I really really really did not want for Zack to die.

It's easy to point out why Final Fantasy is the best game in the world. So many people can connect to certain characters in every series. I, myself, enjoyed playing as so many characters who, at times, seemed to have a neglectful/darkside I.E. most of the main characters. The game play of all Final Fantasy games is always amazing. I even enjoyed the gameplay of Crystal Chronicles and all the games following that one. You also can't have a Final Fantasy game with out breathtaking cutscenes. While one person would go back and look at older titles (VII-IX) and say the cutscenes weren't that great, You have to think how amazing they were for the time they came out. But lastly, the most important thing that makes Final Fantasy what it is would be the Soundtrack. In VII, fighting Sephiroth while One Winged Angel was amazing. Playing as Laguna in VIII while fighting to Man with the Machine Gun was what sold the game as well as the character Laguna for me. Fighting against Kuja and his Flare Star while The Darkness of Eternity was playing in the background made the fight seem bleak. Fighting Jecht while his theme is playing was my favorite Final Fantasy battle of all time. So if you can't find a reason why Final Fantasy is the best game in the world, then You have missed out on alot.

well. here is a easy way to say why it isn't.

have you played. every video game EVER made? nope. so thats like me spouting my opinion on Medievil. yes I do think its one of the best games ever created. I think if you've never played it. you've never lived. But thats my opinion.. Same as Sephy is saying how he dislikes crisis core.. whereas I love it. (I bought a new PSP just to finish it?) so really.. this question is Irrelevant.

also.. its/they are just not the best game/games 'breath taking' cutscenes or not. they're good. (obviously.. I joined this forum didn't I?) but not the best.

for one. the plotlines are recycled. SE are money grabbing now I forgot the true meaning. they muck up pretty much everything they make in the end (*cough* Kuroshitsuji season 2 *cough*) so yeah.
