I love Vincent, Don't get me wrong, but game was really crap. it ruined his image.

As a game in itself, there were quite a few problems with it. But because I love the FF compilation in general (save a few problems here and there). And Vincent is so damn cool. I mean who wouldn't want to be as bad ass as Vincent Valentine. His cloak is epic.

In all honesty, I only bought the game because it was based around Vincent. And they did include Caith Sith, but I really didn't understand why they did that for gameplay. The bosses sucked in my opinion, and the story line wasn't as good as it could of been, but you really can't compare it to FFVII, because at the end of the day, it's a spin off with the main focus on Vincent, one of the most mysterious characters in the game. FFVII, for me, was based around Cloud and Aeris, and DoC, was based around Vincent and Lucrecia. Don't get me wrong, I wish I could of shot Lucrecia in the game, but it did make for a good story line in that respect. If they hadn't of made DoC, we'd all still be sat here, wishing that SE had made a game about Vincent, because, let's be honest here, we all want to know more about him and to play a game where he's a potential lead. I don't think they could of done an RPG of it, because Vincent is a gun wielder character, so it would of been very boring to enter a fight with:

Attack ; - Shoot
- Claw
- Beyotch slap

I think they did the best they could with the game play, and they could of improved on the story line. I love Vincent, always.

I'd give it 8/10 really.

I think they covered up a crappy game with a good character..

but then again Square enix have been ruining things, like Kuroshitsuji=/

so yeah.. I love vincent..

*cough cough* over 1000 pictures just of him..

but I just hate that game it killed his plot line.. and ff7.
