The site Music Online reported this week that Square Enix have decided at the end of last year to break away from its Composers: Junya Nakano, Tsuyoshi Sekito, Naoshi Mizuta, Kumi Tanioka and Takeharu Ishimoto. Masashi Hamauzu, whose departure was announced a few weeks ago, is also part of the lot, and so haven't chose to leave the company on its own.

As promised, Square Enix has contacted a few hours ago the people who will have the chance to be the first to participate in the testing of Final Fantasy XIV. For those who have applied last December but have not been contacted, all hope is not lost: those confirmations only concern for the moment the alpha test of the MMORPG, only given to the regulars Final Fantasy XI, test which will begin the next March 11th.
