Game will take place in the three dimensions *Gasp*
Unlike games like Tekken where you are 3d and mainly move on an X,Y axis and occationally the Z axis - Dissidia has full open movement allowing you to move anywhere you like around the map. If you wish to engage your opponent you can have your view fixed on them, or change the camera to be fixed on you (which is used for you to walk around the map if you are looking for power-ups)
I don't like to say the camera view fixes on your opponent, because it isn't, it simply moves with you and them to give you a good view of the battle - the camera movements are very fluid and allow great angles that you easily watch the battle take place - Here is a Video of a match between Tidus and Ject, its really awesome in creating Advent-children-like battles where you can decide how to move and attack easily - I really suggest you check it out it is awesome.
In the video (If you havent watched it) there are times when the two characters can clash in the air, Tidus and Ject just seem to float for a second and then a button appears on screen that you have to press. This really really awesome because I'm assuming that the person that presses the button fastest gets the next strike in. The game play looks fantastic. Did anyone else notice that the characters can float - not fly, but like in advent children they don't just jump and drop straight to the ground they glide down and any mid air attacks give them momentum allowing them to stay in the air for longer.
Towards the end of the clip you can see Tidus complete some form of Limit break (or Overdrive as it was called in X)
