Alright I have made up the term Limit Verge - but essentially it enters your character into an overdrive mode or limit break mode - I'm assuming it would mainly be used as a finisher, What it is actually called is Exburst, To use your Exburst you have to collect an item called Exforce that appears in each stage, when your Exgauge is full you can enter Exmode. Performing combos in Exmode allows you to do more damage and unleash your Exburst which leaves your opponent open for a massive attack - Tidus is seen using his Exburst which similar to his Overdrive in X to finish off Ject.
Some characters Exmodes give them new forms -
- The warrior of light changes to his upgraded class
- Onion knight can change job class to the Ninja or Sage and Cloud of Darkness appears in her original green form with her two serpent minions from III
- Cecil switches between the Paladin and Dark Knight jobs while Golbez Fuses with his Shadow Dragon
- Exdeath Changes into his Tree Form
- Terra from VI can change into her esper form
- Ultimecia fuses with her GF Griever
- Zidane and Kuja enter their trance forms
- and Ject transforms into Braska's Final Aeon
