Four days after Birth by Sleep, today in released in Japan the new Kingdom Hearts Piano Collection, this time dedicated to his exploration & battle music. If only nine tracks are planned, the last two games in the series are still represented: "Scherzo Caprice on a Theme of Never Land" is in fact composed of world music of Peter Pan in Birth by Sleep, and "Musique pour la tristesse de Xion" is none other than Xion's anthem, obviously taken from 358/2 Days. To achieve this second disc, Yoko Shimomura worked with the same people than the first: the arrangements are signed Sachiko Miyano and Natsumi Kameoka, and the pianists are Miwa Sato, Hiroyuki Nakayama and Takehiko Yamada.


And by the way, Square Enix has released this morning the first ten extracts from the third CD of the soundtrack of Final Fantasy XIII. To listen, it's here (with an English translation of the titles)
