Masashi Hamauzu, who had just signed one of the best soundtrack of all the Final Fantasy series with his compositions for the thirteenth episode, no longer works for the studio. We do not know what are his plans for the future. Obviously, the information has not been announced officially, and it will take several weeks for us to have more details. The campaign for Final Fantasy XIII in the West should light our lanterns, if developers are willing to approach the subject.
Masashi Hamauzu had co-signed and signed compositions of the highest quality since 1995, including the SaGa series, Final Fantasy X, Dirge of Cerberus and the UFO Sigma Harmonics. Hopefully we will hear from him very soon!
